Overview
Nanaco is a jewelry brand my partner and I co-founded to address a gap in the engagement ring market: stylish, premium-quality rings made specifically for men with comfort and functionality in mind. My partner, a designer and engineer, created a patented ergonomic ring that comfortably slides over men’s knuckles without compromising style. I led the UX, UI, branding, photography curation, and marketing strategy to build an online experience that felt honest, elevated, and user-focused.

My Role
Designed and built the full e-commerce site from concept to execution
Developed brand identity including logo, typography, and color palette
Directed a product and lifestyle shoot, working closely with a photographer
Crafted all content strategy and product storytelling around the Ergo Fit™ ring design
Created email and social campaigns focused on building trust, brand awareness, and education
Problem
Traditional engagement ring sites tend to focus on women or offer generic men’s styles without considering absolute comfort or usability. We saw an opportunity to serve a growing group of men seeking thoughtful, comfortable rings that reflect their style, especially for engagement and long-term wear.
Design Approach
Designed around storytelling. We placed the Ergo Fit™ concept front and center, using callouts and visuals to explain the patented comfort design
Emphasized trust through clear messaging: lifetime resizing, patent-pending design, and free ring sizers
Used a soft, modern color palette and clean layout to reinforce the feeling of intentional, minimal luxury
Integrated lifestyle imagery that showcased diversity, identity, and real-world wear
Designed a Shopify experience optimized for ease of navigation, with mobile-first performance in mind
Outcome
Created a brand experience that highlights both form and function. Positioning Nanaco as the first engagement ring brand to lead with comfort for men.
